Melissa,
You were so supportive and compassionate in helping Dexter cross the rainbow bridge. You were there for Dexter, my husband and myself answering all questions and helping us in our very difficult decision. Your love for the animals and pet parents who are faced with such a sad and heartwrenching decision is overwhelming. We feel blessed that you were with us and helped us through one of the saddest moments in our lives. We know he died peacefully and is finally able to be free of his pain in this life. I know he is running and playing Frisbee with his friends and we will see each other again one day.

Dr. Melissa is amazing. She is so kind, loving, empathetic and caring. She was very patient and let us take our time to say goodbye. I will never have it done any other way. She treated my old man with kindness and respect.

Dearest Dr. Melissa,
Thank you so much for helping my sweet Martini onto his next life. You are just amazing. Being able to rock my little man to sleep and let him move on overlooking his ocean made the day joyous. I had Martini for 20 great years. He deserved this peaceful and stress free passing. You truly have a calling.

Dear Doctor Melissa,
I would like to thank you so much for making a difficult decision so much easier. My kitty was at home, no stress from being at a vets office, in my lap for his last moments. He passed so peaceful. And I was able to bury him in his favorite spot. It was more easy then I expected. Your energy and compassion really shine through. I recommend you to all my friends with pets. You’re truly an angel.

I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Melissa Adamson. Our decision to end the suffering of our baby boy a couple of weeks ago was extremely hard. We spend all night trying to aid our baby, as he had been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and his medication was no longer effective; he had several bad choking attacks and that night was the worst. I did a google search for at home euthanasia and among many options I found doctor Adamson. I texted her way before business hours and she texted right back. She was warm and reassuring, and came to see us that same day. She walked us through the steps of what to expect, and even though it was so painful to see our little one go, I do believe that he passed happy, did not feel a thing. Just fell asleep, after he ate as much turkey ham as he could.

Thank you, Dr. Melissa. You are an angel! God bless you!

Lidia A.

Dear Melissa,

Our sincerest thanks for making a terrible day much more bearable. Your kindness, discretion and sympathy were greatly appreciated in a time made more difficult by the virus restrictions. It was so much better to do this at home – I can’t imagine Maggie’s final moments being spent anywhere else, surrounded by her family who loves her so much. Your services were professional, caring, timely, competent and deeply appreciated – I’m glad we found you. The emptiness persists, but there is some peace.

You provide a tremendous service – again, thank you for everything.

Dr. Melissa,
Words can never express how grateful my husband and I were to find you. Our baby boy Bocephus “BoBo” spent the last few years of his life battling cancer and having many chemo appointments. For his last few moments on this earth with us we did not want him to be stressed and feel the “cold” of a vets office. Although our hearts are terribly broken by losing him. Seems like things will never be the same. We our forever grateful that our last act of kindness and love for him was to be able to put him to rest in his favorite spot, the couch. I’ll always remember his final snooze and his sweet snore. We miss hearing it terribly. It takes a special kind of person to willing choose the profession you do. We know it cannot be easy on you. However, we are so thankful for your service and kindness. We just received BoBo’s ashes back yesterday and everything was beautifully done. Thank you for taking care of our baby boy from his final moments and returning him back to us.

Sincerely,
Leann & Cody E.

Dr. Adamson,
You are truly a hero. You have no idea how much you helped me. My English Bulldog, Romeo was 10 years old. He was old for his breed but never showed signs of his age affecting his life. After all the test came back from the vet and there was nothing that could be done I was faced with heartbreaking reality that I had to end his suffering and be selfless as he had been for me all these years. This came out of nowhere and I wasn’t ready. I thought I still had years to be his mom and plenty of time to love him and cherish him. I couldn’t fathom him laying on a cold table in a vets office, uncomfortable and scared as his last moments approached.

I searched online and found Dr. Adamsons’s website and I was so thankful that this was an option. I texted her and she responded immediately. We made arrangements and I spent the rest of the time just laying with my boy and kissing him and thanking him for being so incredible and for loving me so much. She arrived and she was extremely caring and considerate. She explained everything to us and gave us as much time as we needed. She took such good care of him through the process and was extremely caring with him after it was done. I was so thankful to be able to let him pass in his home surrounded by the people that loved him and it was so peaceful because she gave him something to sleep and he fell asleep and I got to listen to him snore one last time and I got so much peace knowing that he went in his sleep. I cannot express my gratitude enough and I am so thankful that this incredible Doctor decided to offer this service because without her I would have never been at peace. Thank you so much! I will always be thankful for you and I will be sure to inform someone in need of your services because it honestly helps more then anyone could ever imagine. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Romeo and thank you for being such an amazing, selfless human being!

Dr. Adamson,

I wanted to personally thank you for helping make this process “not as difficult” as it could have been. Your compassion and gentleness really shines, and I can see how much you truly love animals. You dropped off my baby girl to my husband yesterday. I was uplifted when I saw some of the contents you included and I just wanted to say Thank You, as I was not expecting those small tokens as well as the beautiful box you delivered. We also received Casey’s paw prints and your thoughtful card.

In such a difficult time, your professionalism and genuine care of our pet really means the world to us.

I have forwarded your information to a couple of friends who I feel may need it in the not-so-distant future.  As far as I know, I will always call you when the time comes to make the difficult decision for my current as well as future pets.

We are forever grateful to you. Thank you again,

Julie P. (Casey’s mom)

Hi Dr Melissa,

You are a beautiful soul.  Saying goodbye to my Phoebe was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.    I know that she passed peacefully though surrounded by love.  Your patience with giving me time with her before and after helped give me some closure.  I saw her at peace and out of the struggle to live that she had been through the last few days.  I had never done an at home euthanasia and what  difference it makes.  I will certainly recommend you to anyone I know who faces this terrible time in their life.  All the way down to how gently you handled her and wrapped her in the blanket. I will always remember the sweet final time of Phoebes life.  And you are part of that memory.  Thank you Melissa.
Cathy G.

Hi Dr. Adamson,
I just wanted  to take a brief moment to thank you on behalf of my family, including Max and myself for today. I am so grateful we found you, you made an extremely difficult moment in our lives very comforting and peaceful. My brother and I have recommended you to all of our pet family and friends. You are an angel may god bless your heart always for what you do 💖🙏🏻 Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Dear Dr. Melissa,
I can’t thank you enough for taking such wonderful and compassionate care of Saki. Mojo and I miss her very much, but we are eternally grateful to you for enabling her to pass so peacefully at home, surrounded by love.

Forever Grateful,

Cindy and Mojo

Dear Dr Adamson,
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for how gently and kindly you handled the euthanasia of my sweet dog, Mimi, last night. You were sort of an angel for me.

It is good what you are doing for people on my position. Thank you for all you did.

Wendy W.

Dear Dr. Adamson,
Thank you from the top, bottom and middle of my heart for taking such good care of my sweet girl Pave, throughout her life and then giving her the gift of a peaceful passing. It meant so much to me, especially so close to Christmas. I am forever grateful to have such a caring doctor for my pets, who understands the difficulty of losing a beloved furbaby. Your compassion and understanding mean the world.

Melanie H.

Thank you so very much for allowing my family to say good-bye to Sam in our home.  Words cannot tell you what that means to us, especially Tyler who has had Sam with him since he was two.  You are a very special gift and I will always be grateful.

Thank you!

Angelique D.

You came by last night to help us lay Harley to rest and I just wanted to thank you so much for how great you were in the whole process.  I didn’t have a chance to thank you last night since I was such a mess but it is extremely appreciated and the paw print and hair meant more than you will ever understand.  So again thank you for making this difficult process special and meaningful.

Thank you,

Caitlin W.

Dear Dr. Adamson,

I just wanted to say thank you for your gentle care with Zoey yesterday. I took your advice and was honest with my daughter. She and I are comforting each other. We all miss Zoey so very much as she was really a sweet girl. I think the transition would have been so different at a vet’s office, so I really am thankful for service and support you provide. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Dyanna D.

Dr. Adamson,
I just wanted to take a few moments in thanking you for coming over and attending to our Claudia. You were an angel in her time of suffering and also helped us deal with our sorrow.

It is an honor to have met you and I wish you all the best and may God be with you and continue to allow you to help other families deal with their pain of losing a valuable member of their family as you helped us.

Sincerely,

H Family

I have to say that Dr. Melissa was amazing. We had to let our beagle Dozer go and she was able to help us with the process from the comfort our home. I had never worked with Dr. Melissa before but I called her with a last minute urgent call and she was able to come to us that day! She was kind, patient and respectful. She introduced herself to our sons and directed us on what we could do. This was so wonderful since when you are going through this process you don’t think anymore you just feel many emotions and don’t really know what to do. She was so good to Dozer and Dozer really liked her (tail was wagging even though he was in a lot of pain from his aliments). She was the best person to have for all our sakes (even Dozer – his last new friend he made).

Thank you so much Dr. Melissa! From Dozer’s Family. Tabatha, Michael, Christopher, Sean, Scooby and the Cats.

Dear Dr. Melissa:
We were so blessed to have you come at such short notice to help our Kiki pass from this life to the next. You have a special gift!!! Thank you again for your sensitivity and graceful countenance – it made such a difference during a very hard time.

In His Love,

Renee and Mike P.

Dear Dr. Melissa,
I just wanted to thank you so much for all your care and comfort, and all that you did to make the sad passing of PI a much more peaceful and comforting time for me. I can’t express how much I appreciate how you put me at ease immediately and helped me feel like I was doing the right thing for my baby.

Thank you again,
Leah

Dear Dr. Adamson
Thank you for the kindness you gave us last week as we said goodbye to our Sunny.
We know her final trip was peaceful, and for that we will be forever grateful.

Hello Dr. Adamson,

I just wanted to write you and thank you again for the service you provide to pet owners. Monday was very difficult for my husband and I and we were a bit out-of-touch right after Kayla’s passing. I wanted to reach out and let you know how impressed I was with your compassion, patience and professionalism through the whole process. It means a great deal to us.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Kim G.

Dr. Adamson, we want to express our gratitude for your kind and humane assistance in our beloved Golden Retriever Boomer’s transition. This was a most difficult and painful decision but with your support it was made more comforting knowing that Boomer was surrounded by his family at home kissing, praying and singing to him. He had his last few ‘Treaties’ and his last sip of water in a peaceful and dignified way.

You provide a unique and wonderful service. Thank you.

The Amandi R. Family

Dr. Adamson,

I wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your very professional, humane and thoughtful service you provided in our home for our dog Scout.

It was an extremely tough decision for us, however because of your extremely thoughtful manner it made an unbearable situation manageable for us.

We miss him dearly, he was such an integral part of the family it has taken me some time to come to grips with his passing and convey this word of thanks to you.

Deepest Regards,

John and Dee N.

Melissa, thank you so much for making such a difficult moment a little more tolerable. Your patience and gentle approach along with your soothing demeanor speaks volumes and I will never forget that. I’m so happy we found you…
Gratefully,
Nina A

Dear Dr. Adamson,
There is never an easy way to say goodbye to a pet you love so dearly. However, our experience with doing it in the comfort of our home was an absolute blessing. Your services have made this so much easier to deal with then having to stress out the pet by putting them in a cage and transported to a clinic to be put to rest.

We really appreciated how sensitive you were to our feelings and how you explained what you were doing every step of the way. It shows how much you cared, which made it easier for us to deal with. We know that our baby was at peace being that he was surrounded by familiarity and the comfort of us holding him. You brought a lot of value to us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you do. We highly recommend your services to anyone who is in this situation and will refer you to as many people we can. Again thank you so much.

Warm Regards,
Mike G.

Dear Dr. Adamson:
Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion in helping us make sure that Rocco’s transition was peaceful and loving.

I cannot express how grateful we were to be able to have you come to our home and respect the special relationship we had with Rocco. I feel we gave him the care a dignity that he deserved and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making that possible.

I know there is a special place in heaven just filled with puppies and I’m sure Rocco is making lots of friends.

Thank you so much for helping with his remains. Pet Heaven was wonderful and the private cremation gave me the closure I needed.

Warm Regards,
Lary and Keith

Hi Melissa,
We are doing better, after almost ten years of Chewy’s love it will take us a little time to heal but we have such loving and great memories of him that is what will keep us smiling. I want to thank you for the kind and peaceful way you took care of our Chewy. It made the whole thing easier for us to handle and remember. I am sure Chewy is in a better place where there is no more disease or pain. Which was our main concern.

From the bottom of our hearts thank you for making Chewy’s passing very loving and humane. I am so glad I called you and I will always remember your graceful, kind, and courteous way you had with us and with our boy Chewy. You will always be remembered kindly.

Again thank you, and God Bless.

Teri and Ron

Dear Melissa,
It brings our family joy to see such love from someone who has never met us or our dog before her last day. It brings us peace of mind that we did the right thing and that it was gentle and caring, loving and quiet. I just wanted to write a letter thanking you personally. The compassion and love you showed was very much appreciated. We will forever keep this card along with the personal card you wrote to us. It is also a good thing to see money donated so that other animals don’t have to suffer. Saying goodbye to an old friend is never easy. While we are still getting used to the hole in our lives that she made while with us it will always be there until we meet her again.

Thank you, Again

Ann, Fernando, Sonia

Dear Melissa,
I want to thank you for the difference you made in our life with the time and care you gave to my family and me. Your compassion for the intense sadness we were experiencing that Sunday exactly four weeks ago, was a gift to us. I want to thank you for your medical guidance over the phone on how to make Breck most comfortable in his last few days. I also would like to thank you for allowing us the time for our two daughters to come in from out of town and giving up your Sunday plans to accommodate us in addition to the long drive to our home.

Most of all, I want to thank you for allowing us, without hesitation, to say good- bye to our beloved Breck in the most loving and caring way. You were gentle and caring with Breck and us as well. With your support we had the time we needed with Breck to say good-bye in the most special way. For my husband and me it was the most loving and moving way to say good-bye to our beloved Breck who for nearly 15 years was our angel on earth.

Again, thank you for your gift of compassion it was very needed and
so very much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Sheri & Ralph M. & Family

Dear Dr. Adamson,
I wish I had the words to express how grateful I am for you. As soon as you arrived in my home, I truly felt in my heart that I was in the presence of an angel. Your gentle manner was so comforting, and I could feel that you understood exactly what I was feeling. This in itself was a huge comfort. I knew my dog, Brandy, would be in good hands. Thank you for being so gentle with him and for being so respectful of us. The time I had to say goodbye to him while he was in my arms…to be able to do that in the comfort of his home…I will never forget that. My little puppy was so peaceful as he lay on me and I thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me that time with him.

With great appreciation,
Christine Z

Dear Dr. Adamson,
My name is Ada G. and you put my dog, Lucky to rest yesterday afternoon. My mom and I just wanted to thank you so much for making his parting so peaceful for him and for us as well. You were so respectful of our feelings and of his body after he was put to sleep. It was hard to say goodbye, but you made it so much easier. My mom thought in putting him to sleep he was going to be acting violently (As he would when he’d get a rabies shot) and that’s why she left at first. However, she saw it was just as if he went to sleep and was so happy he went peacefully and at ease in his home. You were so gentle with him. We were both very pleased with your service, professionalism, and gentle manner. Thank you so much for everything.

           Sincerely,

Ada G and Castula G

Dear Dr. Adamson,

Mango Zen was 16.5 years old – we shared 14.5 of those years together. She was my companion, my friend, my teacher.  As she was aging, I was reconciling myself to the fact that she would be leaving me at some point.  Never sure when; always appreciating the moments we still shared.  I knew that, out of respect for her and not wanting her to suffer, I would probably have to make a choice about when to help her pass; I didn’t know how to figure out when to make that choice.  Time passed.  I learned of Dr. Melissa’s home services through a friend.  When I learned that someone could come to my home, I felt comfort in knowing that when Mango’s time arrived – we would do this, in this way.

That time arrived 2 weeks ago.  Mango was at home, with her loving family of dogs and humans.  We were around her, loving her as she passed peacefully.  She knew it was her time and she lead us all through this moment together. Dr. Melissa Adamson was gentle, caring, considerate.  She provided the information about the process, delivered the necessary medications and helped with the complicated issues around how to remove Mango’s beautiful body when the time was right.  She followed up with caring cards and we all got the sense that she was a person who was providing a service in our time of need, in the most gentle and gracious way.

Thank you Dr. Melissa Adamson and Jayson for your care.
